Holland Jachtbouw has completed the sea trials of Topaz and the yacht has now left the shipyard to begin life cruising and racing amongst other superyachts and the J Class fleet. Sea trials were conducted by the project teams from HJB and Cornelsen and Partners, the project managers, as well as the naval architects from the Hoek office.
This latest launch brings the J Class Association’s fleet to eight boats on the water.
Holland Jachtbouw has also commenced work on two new explorer yachts. Both vessels will be built with an emphasis on weight saving and optimum placement of systems. They are intended for long distance cruising in the Baltic and polar regions and will be run by a tailor made hybrid system with a cross shaft option, allowing both CPP propellors to be run by either one or two main engines.
