Palumbo shipyard has reported an unprecedented level of business in 2015 at its refit yards in Malta and Marseille.
Palumbo’s ITM shipyard in Marseille has worked on prominent vessels in recent weeks, including work on the 70m Luerssen Skat, 55m Pendennis Steel, 60m CMN Slipstream, and 71m Luerssen Titania, not to mention the 74m CRN Yalla and 78m Royal Denship Pegasus VIII.
The 12,000 square metre facility boasts four dry docks ranging from 80m to 126m in length, a 95m watershed and more than 300m of quays for afloat repairs.
In addition, Motoryacht A, the 119m Blohm + Voss launched in 2018, has recently tied up to the side of the dock at the yard in Malta to perform winter works this year. Other yachts that have called for refit work include 88m sailing yacht Maltese Falcon.
