Rossinavi has launched Taransay (FR029), a 39m replica of a 1930s motoryacht. The ceremony took place on Saturday 18th April and was attended by the yacht’s German owner, family and friends and shipyard staff.
The yacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure but despite its classic old-fashioned looks is equipped with innovative technological solutions.
Taransay is just under the 300gt mark with a beam of 7.6m. She is powered by two CATS C18 Acert 599kW enabling her to achieve a top speed of 14knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. At 9 to 10 knots she will have a range of 3,500nm.
Her naval architecture was provided by Rossinavi/STB Italia and interior design is by Studio Tassin.
