Italian superyacht builder Sanlorenzo has launched Trident, a 46m steel yacht that the builder completed for a Hong Kong-based owner.

Trident is the sixth 46Steel unit launched so far. Two models are also currently under construction in the Sanlorenzo shipyard. Since the launch of the first unit in 2010, eight Sanlorenzo 46Steels have been sold worldwide.

The project is a five-deck superyacht with an aluminium superstructure and a steel displacement hull. The yacht is completely self-sufficient, with no need to refuel for more than 3,500 nautical miles.

Distinctive features of the interior include a lift that connects the three upper decks, a beach area, swimming pool and open-air cinema.

Trident will be delivered to her owner in the summer of 2014.
