Italian superyacht yard Sanlorenzo is preparing to unveil two new models at the upcoming Cannes and Monaco boat shows.

The SL86 motoryacht will be making its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, followed by the Sanlorenzo 460Exp, a 42m explorer vessel, at Monaco.

Sanlorenzo will be exhibiting nine boats at Cannes, including the SL86, which is the latest addition to its planing hull range. Designed by Officina Italian Design, the 27m yacht has a living area in the bow with sofas, table, chairs and adjustable sunshades. The SL86 is powered by two MTU 12V 2000 M94 (1,947hp) engines for a maximum speed of 32kt.

Just 10 days later at the Monaco Yacht Show, Sanlorenzo will showcase two superyachts, including the 460Exp, its first explorer model, to the industry for the first time.

The 460Exp is the flagship model of the Francesco Paszkowski-designed Sanlorenzo explorer range. At only 460 gross tonnes and 42m in length, it offers stability, security, autonomy, limited draft and a considerable agility for its category. It is able to reach distant or rarely visited destinations, and can navigate close to the shoreline.

The 460Exp is equipped with two CAT C32 Acert engines (1319hp), capable of covering over 4,000Nm autonomously at a speed of 11kt.
