Selene Yachts, a brand by Jet Tern Marine shipyard in China, has announced the launch of hull #2 of Selene 92 Explorer. The yacht is part of the new explorer line including the Selene 78 and 128.

The 27.9m vessel is the result of a multinational collaboration of designers and architects under the leadership of Howard Chen’s design team. Chen has worked closely with Dutch architect Guido De Groot and a group of international consultants in the development of this range.

Featuring GRP construction, this 92-footer features raised pilothouse, Portuguese bridge, and bulbous bow, large side windows in the hull and stainless steel anchor pockets.

The launch of this explorer vessel follows on from the first unit delivered earlier this year. Hull #1 was sold to a North American owner who took delivery of the yacht in the Pearl River Delta near Hong Kong.

Selene 92 Explorer is equipped with twin 2 x 600cv MTU serie 60 engines.

The Selene Yachts product line is manufactured in a state of the art facility located in Dong Guan, Canton, China.
